Buying photography equipment is no joke, especially when following a daredevil man-child careening down a hill, the possibility of your yearly savings vanishing at the whim of a wayward pebble. Alas, such is the story for the great videographers and photographers in skateboarding; professionals who, driven by a perpetual taste for danger, lay everything on the pavement for their passions. Leica has taken to supporting this cast of artists, launching a new series titled Let Us Roam. Highlighting the likes of Greg Hunt, Atiba Jefferson, Arto Saari and Ray Barbee, the series aims to create a portrait of the four from behind the lens, taking viewers to explore the driving forces of today’s great skate artists.
