Following their work transforming the wall outside of Fresh Cafe with a large-scale mural for POW! WOW! 2014, Los Angles art collective CYRCLE. continue their “OVERTHRONE” spirit with their latest show in London. Taking place at the capital’s Stolen Space Gallery, ”OVERTHRONE: Pooring Reign” will show the group’s newest pieces, which are linked together by motifs of power, control and rebellion. Reinventing familiar symbols from historic times with bold fonts and imagery synonymous with the duo, the exhibition features metallic hues and renaissance iconography across a number of mixed media pieces — from sculptures and installations to screen prints and paintings.
