Summing up the past 10 years with regard to his body of work, American Odyssey is Wes Lang‘s published monograph that has its pages filled with his signature iconography. Based in Brooklyn and catapulted to mainstream awareness through his artwork featured on Kanye West’s Yeezus tour tees, Lang has built up a diverse repertoire of artwork that’s found itself in exhibitions and museums the world over. Here in American Odyssey we see his decade-long oeuvre — a collection of pencil drawings depicting American biker culture — as seen through Lang’s interpretation with skulls, girls, flowers, and the Grim Reaper.
