Los Angeles street artist CYRCLE. recently ventured out to Portugal to spread the word on their latest endeavors titled “Capture the Flag! : Conquer the Divide!”. In disparate to their last exhibition “Organized Chaos” the duo took their directional motifs to the Underdogs Gallery, transcending the narrative of the American struggle through the mythology and duality between cowboys and Indians — a motif that made its debut earlier this year at Hong Kong’s “WORK IN PROGRESS” exhibition and furthermore their recent Pen & Paper feature. Culling from the historic American icons, the exhibition shows the group’s provocative illustrations and paste-up-inspired style over dynamic use of angle and layers.
