Walking around Brooklyn (or the rough streets of Long Island), one might notice one of New York-based Aakash Nihalani‘s pieces hanging from or attached to a given wall. Nihalani has done well over the past couple of years to create geometric shapes using little more than tape — a unique approach that has made a winning formula for the artist. Nihalani is now set to host an exhibition at Signal in Brooklyn’s Bushwick, titled “ISLANDS.” Using strategic placement in conjunction with his signature style, Nihalani forces viewers’ perspectives on each piece. If in the area, be sure visit the exhibition, which runs through May 14.
