Melbourne-based artist MEGGS retains a colorful approach to his work, having initially drawn influence from the various facets of street culture. The multidisciplinary artist will have an exhibition at Thinkspace Art Gallery in California, titled “Heavenly Creatures.” The exhibition will feature new paintings, sculptures and installations from the artist, who has chosen to concentrate on the relationship between conceptions of fantasy and reality with this body of work. Drawing inspiration from both comic books and classical mythology, this bold contemporary offering from MEGGS is sure to stimulate both eye and mind. The opening ceremony for this exhibition will be on Saturday, April 6 from 6-9 p.m.
