Cassina x Karl Lagerfeld "An Authentic Eye" 85th Anniversary Exhibition

Continuing to build on a respected career over half a century old, renowned designer, photographer and artist Karl Lagerfeld teams up with Italian furniture company Cassina to produce a new collection of photographs. The photos, created by Lagerfeld himself, are a tribute to Cassina’s 85 years of high-end production. As such, they seek to capture the refined shapes and silhouettes of the brand’s most iconic archival pieces through via a series of portraits. The portraits were put on display in an exhibition at Cassina’s showroom in Paris, entitled “An Authentic Eye.” Following the exhibition, Lagerfeld will also premiere an animated installation displaying his personal vision for the brand, to be shown in Via Durini during Milan Design Week.
