A certain suspension of belief goes into watching sitcoms and movies, as it’s highly unlikely that characters like Homer Simpson, Kramer or Monica Geller could afford the spaces they occupy. Spain-based interior designer Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde has chosen to trust her imagination though, and as such has created floor plans for several apartments and houses of beloved TV sitcoms such as The Simpsons, Seinfeld and Friends. Notable is the fact that Lizarralde carefully sketched each of these 15 floor plans based on pure observations from each show – an impressive feat in itself. Couch potatoes everywhere – maybe all that television can amount to something.
