Birdman Photos Presents "Half Way to Nowhere"
Originally erected nearly 50 years ago, the now defunct water park located in the Mojave Desert
Originally erected nearly 50 years ago, the now defunct water park located in the Mojave Desert between California and Las Vegas now serves as a playground for professional skateboarders like Rob Dyrdek and Kilian Martin as well as the gorilla art collective TrustoCorp. Revealing itself once again as a unique artist landscape, Birdman Photos enlisted a slew of muralists to be filmed while creating various original pieces of graffiti throughout the abandoned park. The long list of taggers include Risk, INSA, Meggs, Echo, and Steve Martinez, while the musical tracking is provided by Portugal. The Man. Photos of this excursion can also be seen in Issue 24 of Very Nearly Almost Magazine sold here.
