Roots of Life is a continuing collaboration between nanamica and THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL. Now in its seventh chapter, the collaboration again looks to nature as its central theme. With the aim of bringing awareness to the amazing landscapes our planet has to offer, the project started in 2007 with each year dedicated to various forms of nature on Earth — such as the Antarctica, volcano, deep sea, and the Namib desert. This issue focuses on the sun and its role in providing light to our daily lives, stringing together archival imagery and observation records to present a compelling look at something we take for granted everyday. THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL and nanamica have also created a down parka and print T-shirt as part of the capsule range. Head over to nanamica for more on Roots of Life Vol.7
