The ’90s were seminal time for skateboarding in Japan, which largely gave birth to the scene and skate teams such as Newtype. This board pays tribute to the advancement of both skateboard and hip-hop culture. In addition to the stacks of record albums that make up the graphic-heavy side of the board, the other side of the ¥9,975 JPY (approximately $113 USD) board features a simple dual-branded wood finish and the words “This ain’t a blast from the past, it’s a boomer from the future” from the Artifacts track “Collaboration of Mics”.
