Forever: The New Tattoo is a book that offers the best in contemporary work within the field of tattoos. Available from vaulted art purveyors Gestalten, the book serves as a documentary into the current tattoo culture, sharing styles, philosophies and myriad tattoo references from artists that push the boundaries in contemporary tattooing. To celebrate its launch, Gestalten Space will be hosting talks from the likes of tattoo artists Alex Binnie, Duncan X and Matt Lodder (of whom wrote the book’s preface), as well as a live tattooing session from the strikingly detailed Rafel Delalande. Already released in Europe and soon to be internationally, Forever: The New Tattoo sells for $49.95 USD and can be purchased online. And if you’re in Berlin this month, be sure to attend the launch event on September 21 from 6:30 pm-9:30 pm.
