Drawing inspiration from Scott Schuman’s iconic Sartorialist series of fashion shots snapped on the streets of cities across the world, Sam Ashley puts a clever stamp on the approach – focusing on the fashion choices of skateboarders in the appropriately titled “The Skatorialist.” Presented in the same straight-forward manner as Schuman, Ashley allows the fashion choices for the four-wheel savants to take precedent – evidenced through pieces that include camo, crewnecks and chinos. The Skatorialist is definitely something to keep an eye on.
