Pulling upon inspirations from New York City and old newspapers from the metropolis, Evan Hecox has just completed a series of drawings for his “Dark Island” exhibition at Joshua Liner Gallery. Following a stroll through the city with Polaroid camera in hand, Hecox depicts various fragments of the city landscape, architecture and surroundings through the exhibition of mixed media work. “Dark Island” is now showing and will be open until June 23.
