Damien Hirst's 'Cock and Bull' @ Tramshed Restaurant

Steak and chicken are usually the order of the day at Mark Hix’s Tramshed – but a slice of treats

Steak and chicken are usually the order of the day at Mark Hix’s Tramshed – but a slice of treats from artist Damien Hirst is a welcome addition to the culinary palette. Situated high above the floor and specifically crafted for the restaurant, Cock and Bull sees the artist once again employing animals inside a translucent box – much like his now iconic shark dubbed The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living as part of his Natural History series. Alongside Hirst’s monumental formaldehyde work, the artist has created a painting, Beef and Chicken, installed at the mezzanine level that depicts Cartoon Network characters from the 1990s.
