Directed by Keith Loutit and Jarbas Agnelli, “The City of Samba” is a tilt-shift narrative that features an assortment of images from Carnaval 2011 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The effect we’ve come to know is breathtakingly beautiful in this instance, as signature landmarks and the Carnaval parade have been made to look like miniatures a child would play with. Comprised of video footage as well as over 170,000 still photographs, this labor of love is something you don’t want to miss.
