Dalek & Greg Lamarche may not exactly be household names, but in the art world they are highly respected as masters of geometric, line-based structural painting as well as revered typography designers. New from the two comes an exhibition entitled, not surprisingly, “Geometric Balance” at the Show & Tell Gallery in Toronto. Complete with a dizzying array of colorful shape-heavy prints as well as some examples of fonts so elaborate they can be placed in a frame and no spectators would think twice, the show displays an impressive selection of Dalek & Greg’s work. Open until the end of the month, Geometric Balance should be a definite stop for fans of both art and typography in the Toronto area.
