“Days” is the latest solo exhibition from Steven Powers to be held at V1 Gallery in Copenhagen which will show more than 60 new works by the artist created daily over the last year. Powers uses a poetic, reflective, humorous and distinctive tone in the paintings and comments on the mundane issues such as running late, being lonely in a relationship, and the trials and rewards of love. The work reminds us to reflect on our daily life as both individuals and society. That in our daily encounters with each other as fellow humans, enemies, lovers or both the real magic is in the mundane. The show runs from May 7-June 4 2011.
