On May 5, Londonewcastle Project Space will present an exhibition by photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis entitled “This Charming Man.” In her first major solo show, Jarvis will display a selection of intimate portraits inspired by the men who have interested and affected her over the years. Between 2007 and 2010, the photographer relocated from her hometown of New York City to Los Angeles, and then London, documenting young men along the way and exposing the tensions between their personal and public personas. “This Charming Man” exhibition will run from May 5 through May 20, 2011.
