OBEY: Copenhagen

From legendary street artist and OBEY Clothing owner/designer Shepard Fairey comes a four-part

From legendary street artist and OBEY Clothing owner/designer Shepard Fairey comes a four-part video series documenting his most recent art exhibition, which took place in Copenhagen this past summer. The series gives viewers an inside look into the OBEY team as they travel to Copenhagen and set up for the show at the V1 Gallery. Throughout the videos, Fairey discusses the highs and lows of being a jet-setting artist, as well as his insight and experiences to the differences in working on the street and in a controlled gallery environment. While the exhibition was a success, the videos honestly and thoughtfully depict the hard work and sometimes rough process of creating a show from such a well-known artist. The videos ultimately do a nice job of showing Fairey in an environment that longtime followers are likely more familiar with, instead of the clothing designer and large business success he has become.
