Many of us HBers live our lives in hyper-urban settings, so experiencing the pristine timelapsed beauty of Dustin Farrell’s Landscapes can come as a shock and a joy, equally. The second of an intended trilogy, Landscapes: Volume 2 comprises a series of flowing vignettes depicting natural settings in Arizona and Utah, done entirely through time lapsing photographs taken with a Canon 5D Mark II, and using motion controlled HDR (high dynamic range) techniques. Thunderstorms in the distance and long-lensed sunsets showcase the ethereal beauty of the Sonoran Desert, while demonstrating an extraordinary level of technical expertise.
