Daniel Arsham Gifts Custom Pieces to Inter Milan

In a set of sculptures representing the team colors.

Renowned artist Daniel Arsham has taken to Instagram to show his support to his favorite football club, Inter Milan, with a special gift.

Noting in a joint post on social media, the artist shared his deep connection with the city of Milano, having coming to the city for over 15 years for “to work with friends in design, architecture, art and fashion.” In his almost two decades traveling to and from and the city, he has grown a love for the football club in the city and with that, wanted to show his appreciate with a special sculpture to represent both the team, the sport and Milano.

Presenting two sculptures that resemble that of deconstructed footballs, the artist wrote on Instagram, “As a gift to the Club, I have created a sculpture representing the team colors made in crystal and volcanic ash. Though my artworks may appear as if they are falling apart, the crystals are actually growing to completion inside.” He continues to share the artistic intent behind the pieces stating, “Evolving, adapting, and growing in unison, much like the spirit of Inter. Facing challenges and overcoming them. Growing together.” Arsham ends the note to the club with “Forza Inter,” a signature phrase to cheer on the team.” The project signifies his forever allegiance to the city and its team, connecting his love for the sport with his artwork.
