Luka Sabbat and Noah Dillon of Hot Mess Launch "Surfaces" Exhibition
On view at LA’s Terminal 27.

Los Angeles boutique and gallery Terminal 27 is currently hosting a physical and virtual exhibition entitled “Surfaces” featuring diverse works by the creative duo Hot Mess — comprised of Luka Sabbat and Noah Dillon. For the presentation, Sabbat and Dillon incorporate materials scavenged from the Los Angeles landscape into their mixed-media pieces. With these art objects, the artists pay homage to the West Coast city while exploring the relationship between identity and materiality.
“Surfaces of LA in a gallery setting speaks to the proverbial real estate of Los Angeles. Symbols of the unattainable. Pieces of land that transcend their material form. Physical objects that encapsulate the identity of the city and the desires behind. A true and honest reflection of the place we live,” said Terminal 27 in a statement.
Accompanying the artworks is a selection of exclusive merchandise spanning caps and tees designed by Hot Mess. Check out the installation views for “Surfaces” in the slideshow above and then head to Terminal 27’s website for more information.
Elsehwere in art, Rhymezlikedimez is set to launch new animated NFT artworks that fuse hip hop music with bold illustrations.
