Japanese artist Mr. and Pharrell have recently released a set of six Edition1 posters from their collaborative “A Call to Action” exhibition at Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts in Paris. Mr.’s colorful anime-inspired subjects are observed across the tondo pieces that portray children in military gear. The pieces are currently being auctioned on the Asia Art Archive online fundraiser. Proceeds will support the independent non-profit in their mission to collect archival materials on contemporary art in Asia for research and education.

Virgil Abloh‘s 496-page retrospective book ‘Figures of Speech‘ is now being released as a special edition beginning October 29. Figures of Speech include 1,932 images and a selection of essays that discuss a wide range of topics from race, contemporary art history, streetwear and more. Cosmetic features exclusive to the special edition of Figures of Speech include a protective cloth slipcase, a measuring tape that doubles as a bookmark and the phrase “PERSONAL COPY” silkscreened on the edge of the book. Additionally, a Flexi disc printed with a Juergen Teller photo that contains a spoken word recording by Abloh and Playboi Carti is included with each purchase.

Paris-based Print Them All recently joined forces with Meguru Yamaguchi to release a new lithograph edition entitled ‘Splitting Horizon No. 10.’ Sized at roughly 40 by 30 inches, the composition features the Brooklyn-based artist’s aggressive brushstroke motifs alongside delicate hints of paint splatter visuals in his signature black, blue, and white color palette. Each lithograph arrives stamped, numbered, and signed by the artist.

New York City-based artist Amber Vittoria is known for her minimalist mixed-media works that champion femininity and the female form. Her compositions feature human-like subjects with exaggerated physical traits alongside natural motifs. The artist currently has a series of original works available on her website. One of the standout pieces among many is her ‘Love Yourself’ piece made using brush pens on thin paper. The work measures 8.5×11 inches and arrives signed in ink by the artist.

Copenhagen-based ceramics label Studio Arhoj continues to launch its ubiquitous series of ‘Ghost’ and ‘Familia’ figurines. One of the brand’s latest offerings is a set of three Japanese Shinto-inspired figurines entitled ‘Familia Group No 36.’ Each piece is hand-cast in solid, heavy white porcelain. The figures are then glazed in a wide variety of hi-fire colors.
