teamlab to Unleash Monstrous 'Black Waves' in Upcoming Immersive Exhibit
To take place in Osaka’s Dojima River Forum.

teamLab continues to create immersive exhibitions that draw inspiration from the natural world. Following its gargantuan “Beyond the Limits” show in Paris, the multi-faceted art collective is set to launch a new digitized showcase at the Dojima River Forum in Osaka, Japan entitled “Waterness.” A significant highlight of the exhibit is the team’s Black Waves: Wander, Discover and Re-emerge installation that immerses visitors in a spacious dark room with huge digitized screens portraying monstrous swells. The ocean waves were designed by acclaimed Nihonga painter, Hiroshi Senju.
The exhibition will commence on July 14 up until September 2. Head over to the Dojima River Forum’s official website to learn more. For more exhibitions, take a look at German artist Katharina Grosse’s new Gagosian London show entitled “Prototypes of Imagination.”
