Walls of Change: Reinventing a Neighborhood With Street Art

“It’s not a neighborhood anymore, it’s the biggest museum in the world.”

Way back in 2009, Cinemart teamed up with Tony Goldman to create a project that would effectively reinvent a neighborhood using the power of street art. The team travelled to Wynwood, Miami, and created a project titled Here Comes the Neighborhood, a series of short videos that documented the power of public art. After the videos were released in 2011, the team continued to work with artists from around the world, effectively turning a desolate industrial space into a mecca of street art. The revitalization of the area was actually the fastest neighborhood turnaround in American history. The video above titled Walls of Change took six years to make and it explores the work of over 25 of the worlds most notorious street artists taking over the area. Check it out.
