Having already demonstrated his mastery of the music video medium, Nabil Elderkin has been recruited by Montblanc and the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the Tribeca Film Institute to create a short film for their inaugural “The Power of Words” initiative, which challenges burgeoning filmmakers to create pieces inspired by important literary works. Dubbed Captureland, Elderkin’s contribution heads to Kingston, Jamaica’s Port Royal community, charting one Rastafari’s pursuit of purpose in the world. Enjoy the film above.
