Ja Tecson developed his love for Hawaii after a successful photo trip in 2011. During his visit, the Los Angeles-based photographer met with In4mation owner Jun Jo, and the two bonded over common interests in the realms of art and photography. This led to Tecson shooting a number of lookbooks for In4mation, returning to the island frequently to refine his approach behind the lens. Hence,  it only seemed right that Tecson showcased his latest  work at In4mation. Titled “Aloha,” the exhibition pays homage to Hawaii via a selection of snaps centered around the state’s beautiful offerings, from striking landscapes to statuesque women. Cast your eyes over “Aloha” above and be sure to check out the exhibition for yourself if you happen to be in Nuuanu.
