Los Angeles-based street artist HUEMAN aka Allison Torneros presents her latest creative efforts as “Ritual” — an awe-inspiring project motivated by artists of various disciplines: break dancers, calligraphers, songwriters and carpenters. After observing the lives and rituals of the artisans at work, she transferred their charisma and energy onto the gallery walls, comparing and contrasting their styles with her own freestyle form of delivery. Shot and directed by Patrick Nissim, the clip offers a glimpse of Torneros’s core motifs in “Ritual” alongside a slice of her art in the making. “Ritual” opens July 11 during Downtown LA Art Walk at Think Tank Gallery.
