Despite its rapid rate of success and growth, Saturdays Surf NYC is still perceived differently amongst its consumers. Encompassing the worlds of fashion, coffee and surfing is, after all, a broad endeavor. Saturdays unveiled the inaugural issue of its magazine last year, in part to shed light on its interests as a brand, and as creative director Colin Tunstall explains, to clarify that an urban surfer’s lifestyle includes a variety of other activities. With the second issue of Saturdays Magazine having released recently, the brand shot a behind-the-scenes video with Tunstall and magazine editor Danny DiMauro to explore the process of creating such a diverse journal.
