French graffiti artist Miss Van is set for her newest exhibition at Corpo Gallery in Santa Monica, California. Titled “Wild at Heart,” the arrangement is a series of paintings on paper and wood that focus on the emotion and personality of fantastical subjects. Miss Van combines human and animal forms, often masked to add a level of sophistication to the characters. To her, the masks allow her to express more vibrant personalities through forms rather than faces. Additionally, the exhibition is sponsored by luxury denim label Citizens of Humanity, which collaborated with the artist on a T-shirt to be given to guests at the gallery reception. The Miss Van “Wild at Heart” exhibition opens August 11.
