Ahead of the start of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, Jeep has tapped jeffstaple to head the design of the manufacturer’s collaboration with USA Basketball. In this short video, the iconic designer talks about the inspiration behind the collaboration and shows off some early prototypes of the collection’s “Believe” logo before showcasing the final collage-inspired design. The unique “do-it-yourself” take on the Stars and Stripes ultimately encompasses jeffstaple’s streetwear roots while paying homage to the American pride of both Jeep and USA Basketball.
