London-based design studio, Johnson Banks, recently collaborated with the Digital Media University of Ravensbourne to create the “Arkitypo” conceptual video. Using the typeface selection as the starting point, the curators selected a specific typeface that began with each respective letter. After thoroughly researching the history of each letter, they set out to represent each individual character graphically with elements of its history and serving as the foundation. Taking a total of six months to create, the “Arkitypo” video is not only an impressive offering for film enthusiasts but also designers and typographers alike.
