Universe is pleased to announce the release of Maximum Rad: The Iconic Covers of Thrasher Magazine, a hardbound collection of every Thrasher magazine cover in the San Francisco skate magazine’s 30-year publication history since 1981. Unsurprisingly this translates into a monumental collection of legendary skate photos across time, from Jay Adams, Tony Alva, and Steve Caballero through to Tony Hawk and Brian Anderson, and present-day heroes James Hardy and Justin Figueroa. These incredible skate moments immortalized on film by the sharpest photographers that have graced the front of Thrasher will be accompanied by behind-the-shoot stories as told by editors, photographers and the skaters themselves. The book drops February 21, and may be pre-ordered at Amazon.
