In her third exhibition, Leslie David, who has worked for various clients in the fashion, music and art scene including Nike, Surface to Air, Givenchy Perfumes and The New York Times, recently held a show at Galerie Surprise in Paris. With works ranging from art-deco to hyperrealism, David’s latest show, called “Stratigraphy,” draws inspiration from patterns in everyday life and reinterprets them in a way that’s both mechanical and organic, dreamy and geometric. Adding to her signature black and white style, these pieces use color to take us on a journey through her own psychedelic universe.
