With the 2010 Hong Kong Art Fair now officially wrapped up, we get a peek into the many installations featured within the international Modern & Contemporary Art showcase. Over 150 galleries, from 29 different countries, participated in this year’s show, offering a great look at contrasting styles and geographical diversity.
ART HK has been a catalyst for the cultural scene in Hong Kong and actively involves many of the city’s leading art institutions including Asia Art Archive and Para/Site. With an extensive program of talks and satellite events, ART HK has become the unmissable forum for cultural debate in Asia. The Fair is a much needed platform for networking for the international art community bringing together collectors, curators, artists and galleries from Asia and the rest of the world. ART HK is also a valuable educational resource, vitally important in nurturing the art market in the region for the long term.
