A few weeks ago, artist Niels Shoe Meulman (aka Shoe) presented a body of work in Los Angeles at Project Space. Having established himself alongside some notable artists of the last few decades such as Dondi White, Rammellzee, Haze and Keith Haring among others, his “Calligraffiti Throw-Ups” was an inventive way of showcasing his personal loves through beautifully detailed characters and calligraphy. This video shows a behind the scenes of his process while inside Project Space.
