KATSU Releases ‘Feels 3’ Print via OMNI Gallery

Act fast before they’re gone.

KATSU has been busy at work as of late. That is, both the artist and the meticulous painting drones he employs to help create his work. The Japanese-American artist is currently showcasing a new solo exhibition at OMNI gallery in London. But for those of you outside the UK, KATSU has released a new limited-edition print, titled Feels 3.

The two-color silkscreen print features a large yellow smiley face that is blurred to various degrees in KATSU’s signature graffiti aesthetic. Similar to his Mecha exhibition, Feels 3 marks the first archival print in his drone series. One to which “can be used as currency amongst other humans once the global economy collapses around Valentine’s Day 2023,” the artist said in a statement.

Feels 3 was initially released in two iterations — a two-color silkscreen print that is an edition of 75, and a slightly altered version that is hand-finished by the artist and is limited to just 15 prints. While the latter print has since sold out, you can still purchase the former for £300 GBP / $335 USD at OMNI’s webshop.

Elsewhere, Allison Katz is now represented by Hauser & Wirth.
