Stefan Marx Releases 'Berlin Drawings 2'

A chronicle of life in the German capital since the start of the pandemic.

Stefan Marx is a German artist well-known for drawings and text-based observations that humorously comment on the state of the world. You may have seen his work across a number of album covers, including Mac DeMarco’s Salad Days and Tornado Wallace’s We’re Where We Were along with collaborations with IKEA and Case Studyo.

Before the pandemic, Stefan chronicled his daily observations living in Berlin through a book eponymously dubbed Berlin Drawings. Within the weighty publication you can find small-scale drawings the artist made while in transport, nature, at the TXL airport, or just at home.

Much like the rest of the world, life in the German capital has dramatically changed since COVID began, prompting the artist to release the latest volume to his studies. Berlin Drawings 2 is supported by Carhartt WIP and marks Stefan’s 30th publication with Nieves.

The book spans 300 pages and is available to purchase for $32 USD.
