White Cube Will Open a Gallery in New York City

The new space is slated to open doors in spring 2023.

Next year, White Cube will celebrate its 30th anniversary by opening a gallery space in New York City. The additional location will join two London galleries, a space in Hong Kong and West Palm Beach, along with offices in Paris and the Big Apple.

For the past three decades, White Cube has helped bring global recognition to a range of contemporary artists, including Damien Hirst and Danh Võ to Julie Curtiss, Fred Tomaselli and Theaster Gates, amongst many.

In a statement announcing the news, White Cube founder and CEO, Jay Jopling, said: “I have wanted to open White Cube in New York for some time and we have now found the perfect location in this remarkable city.”

The gallery will span three floors at 1002 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side and is slated to open in spring 2023.
