HUF Honors the Life of Pablo Ramirez in New SF Art Show

“The Power of Pablo” is on view until March 25, 2022.

This past weekend, HUF WORLDWIDE unveiled a new art show honoring the life of the late artist, musician and skateboarder, Pablo Ramirez. Held at SOMArts, the exhibition features work from over 100 artists from San Francisco, along with the global arts community, including Haroshi, Mark Gonzales, Ed Templeton and more.

Back in 2019, Ramirez tragically passed away at the age of 26 when he was hit by a dump truck in SF’s South of Market area. Despite being known as a prolific skater, who was fearless in bombing any hill, Ramirez was also a passionate artist who held the mantra that “life is beautiful” within each work he created.

Made in conjunction with the Pablo Ramirez Foundation (PRF), the month-long exhibition features work from a number of prominent contemporary artists alongside a lot of drawings and paintings that Ramirez passionately created in his short but extraordinary life. Proceeds from both the HUF x PRF capsule, magazine and “The Power of Pablo” weekend events will benefit PRF, allowing the foundation to continue to provide opportunity and advocacy for the youth so they can reach their full potential as skateboarders, artists, and musicians.

The exhibition is currently on view until March 25, 2022. For more information on the list of exhibiting artists and accompanying events, please visit PRF.
