Hebru Brantley Presents a New Sculptural Edition ‘Free Advice’

The latest collaboration with Avant Arte.

Hebru Brantley recently worked with the team at Avant Arte on a Portoro marble edition that meditated on Mother Earth. To follow, the Chicago-based artist will debut a new sculptural edition, titled Free Advice.

Based on an original painting of the same name, the sculpture depicts one of Brantley’s child superheroes, Phibby, who is brought to life in three-dimensional form. According to a statement on the release, Brantley took to the wise words he’d learn from his elders who’ve experienced life’s ups and downs and aptly titled the artwork Free Advice to serve as a muse of sorts for the younger generation.

The bronze sculpture is an edition of 100 and sizes at 13.8in x 5.5in x 5.5in. Further details include the artist’s signature and edition number engraved at the underside of the feet. Free Advice is hand-painted and will be available to purchase via Avant Arte for $8,243 USD on April 01, 2022 at 10am EST.
