Daniel Arsham Releases 'SKETCHBOOK’

A detailed look at the multidisciplinary artist’s creative process.

Daniel Arsham is currently showcasing a five-series art exhibition across Japan in collaboration with NANZUKA and Pokémon. “A Ripple in Time” quite literally transports the New York-based artist into an eclectic short film produced exclusively for the exhibition, where his future-relic sculptures are brought to life by the legendary animators behind the hit series.

To coincide with the events, Arsham has released SKETCHBOOK — a sumptuous new art book containing hundreds of never-before-seen drawings and drafts he created over the past decade. Produced in conjunction with No More Rulers, the book covers the artist’s far-reaching interests across art, architecture and film, to design, cars, anime and sneaker culture.

For those of you in New York, Arsham will be signing copies of the book at a free public screening of “A Ripple in Time” tomorrow at Perrotin from 5-7pm ET. If you’re not in the area, SKETCHBOOK is available to purchase at No More Rulers for $35 USD.
