Daniel Arsham Unveils New "BRONZE CRYSTALIZED CHARIZARD" Sculpture

Limited edition of 99.

SG Australia

Continuing his longstanding partnership with Pokémon, Daniel Arsham has revealed his latest sculpture from the fictional universe, creating a BRONZE CRYSTALIZED CHARIZARD sculpture reimagined as a relic of Kanto which has been uncovered through the passage of time. While Arsham has created eroded Charmander figures and PINK CRYSTALIZED CHARIZARD Pokémon cards in the past, the artist’s new cast bronze Charizard sculptures are hand-finished in custom black oil patina for the first time. Crystals are individually polished for a reflective glaze.

Each Charizard edition measures 31 cm high and weighs 10 kilograms with only 99 editions available.  The sculptures arrive encased in a custom Arsham Studio crate which includes a pair of embroidered art handling gloves and a Certificate of Authenticity that Arsham hand-signs and numbers.

To purchase the sculpture, head over to the Daniel Arsham webstore on November 4 at 12 p.m. EDT. An email will be announced in which prospective buyers can submit their Paypal email with their preferred shipping address. The pieces will be sold to the first 99 people to successfully submit payment.
