Steven Harrington Debuts a New Character in His Collaboration With HUF

Introducing Doobie the Skate Rat.

Fresh off a sculptural collaboration with Moncler, Steven Harrington has partnered with fellow California label, HUF, on a vibrant new capsule collection.

The Los Angeles-based artist and designer has created a set of original artworks which will be overlaid on HUF’s line of clothing and accessories. Highlights of the collab include a forest green hoodie and all-over print pants and bucket hat to match. At the center of the release, however, is a brand new character named Doobie the Skate Rat, who is seen in the video below, spending a day in the life with the HUF skate team.

“Being such a big fan and growing up with skateboarding, I’ve always looked up to Keith Hufnagel and the community he’s created. That said, I’m extremely honored and proud to be a part of the HUF legacy,” Harrington told Hypebeast in an exclusive interview.

For collectors looking to purchase, be sure to sign up for the artist’s “Early-Drop” list for a password for tomorrows release. The HUF x Steven Harrington collection will be available online and at HUF’s flagship locations starting August 26 at 9:00am PST.

Elsewhere in art, HBX will launch an exclusive print collaboration with Yoshirotten and Daido Moriyama.
