Frieze Los Angeles Previews 2022 Lineup of Events

The art fair returns to the City of Angels after a year of hiatus.

Frieze Los Angeles will return next spring after a year off due to COVID. The 2022 edition will bring together over 100 of the world’s leading galleries in a celebration of the creative spirit of the city.

Under the wing of newly appointed director, Christine Messineo, the fair will also debut Frieze Sculpture Beverly Hills, a public art initiative that has captivated audiences in London and New York. Emblematic of the past fairs, the work on display will cover a range of artistic styles that are presented on a monumental scale. Supported by the City of Beverly Hills, Frieze Sculpture Beverly Hills will take place in the iconic location of Beverly Gardens Park as part of a program of events and public activities for Frieze Week in Beverly Hills.

As part of the Frieze Week celebration, Focus LA will feature 11 of the city’s defining young galleries who will present solo or dual artist exhibitions. Led by Amanda Hunt, Director of Public Programs & Creative Practice, Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, Focus LA presents a cast of new and returning galleries, which includes Gattopardo, In Lieu, Bel Ami and more.

Additionally, a number of the city’s major institutions will celebrate the many communities that makeup LA’s dynamic art landscape. Exhibitions include Selected Acquisitions of a Decade at The Broad, along with Black American Portraits at LACMA.

Frieze Los Angeles will take place from February 17 to 20 at a new location, 9900 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, adjacent to The Beverly Hilton hotel. Early bird tickets are available now for purchase. Please see the full list of exhibitors below.
