Cleon Peterson Releases "ON THE SHADY SIDE OF THE STREET"
Three new screen prints from the prolific American artist.
Following his last release, “INTO THE NIGHT MMXXI,” Cleon Peterson has released a new print, entitled, “ON THE SHADY SIDE OF THE STREET.”
The American artist is a constant observer of the dark underbelly of society. Through a minimal and bold aesthetic, Peterson ties in the corruption and lust for power that have persisted from the Bronze Age to the present day. “ON THE SHADY SIDE OF THE STREET” comes in three different color combinations — black and white, black and yellow, along with a tonal black iteration.
The hand-pulled screenprint is an edition of 125 and sizes at 14 x 20.5-inches. Printed on 290gsm Coventry Rag paper with deckled edges, each is signed and numbered by the artist. The white and yellow prints have since sold out, but if you act quickly, you can purchase the tonal black iteration on Peterson’s website for $200 USD.
