Works by George Condo, Banksy, and More To Sell at New Auction’s First Art Auction
Including sculptures and figures by Jeff Koons, Futura 2000 and KAWS.
New Auction auction house based in Harajuku, Tokyo will be launching its very first art auction entitled “New 001” to be held at the BA-TSU ART GALLERY in Shibuya-ku.
This latest auction is a blend of both old and new contemporary works from a varying degree of artists all over the globe such as sketches by Pablo Picasso, mixed media works by Joan Miró, a few of Yoshitomo Nara’s iconic portrayals of children, a nude artwork by MADSAKI entitled Rue de Faudourg Poissinniere (1) and silkscreen acrylic prints by Andy Warhol. The 2004 oil painting entitled Little Ricky by George Condo showcasing the American artist’s signature portraiture style will be joining the mix along with pieces by Banksy, KYNE and Yayoi Kusama and more. On the sculptures and figures side, interested parties can find a few works by Jeff Koons, Futura 2000, Haroshi and KAWS.
