Gosha Levochkin Releases a 20-Color Screenprint

Entitled “Push Start to Continue.”

New York-based artist Gosha Levochkin recently unveiled a new exhibition at Los Angeles’ Over the Influence gallery, entitled, “Secret Button.” The show presents a series of new abstract paintings — each mapping out what the artist intends as a somewhat aerial map of a video game — a chaotic puzzle that moves the eye from corner to corner.

To complement the show, the artist has worked with concept store, Garey the Third, on a limited-edition 20-color screenprint called Push Start to Continue. Known for his spatial compositions that showcase characters with minimal features, Levochkin riddles his work with a number of elements that reference his personal childhood — from playing in abandoned cars as a kid, to his love for graffiti, comics, and Japanese animation.

Push Start to Continue is an edition of 50 with six artist proofs. The artwork sizes at 24-by-30 inches wide and is printed on 250gsm Coventry Rag paper to ensure archival quality. To purchase, please visit Garey the Third’s website. Additionally, be sure to check out Levochkin’s solo exhibition “Secret Button” at Over the Influence Los Angeles until November 7.

Also in Los Angeles, Haroshi has created three unique sculptures for Cat Art Show 2021.
