MoMA Design Store Launches KAWS Merch Collection

Celebrating the artist’s exhibit at National Gallery of Victoria.

To mark the “KAWS: Companionship in the Age of Loneliness” exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, the MoMA Design Store has revealed a new collection of KAWS-themed pieces. The capsule references some of the artists’ best loved characters, transforming them into magnets, enamel pins and postcards.

Stand-out pieces in the collection include three sets of magnets depicting BFF in different colors, as well as Companions and the Open companion. Elsewhere, sets of postcards feature notable KAWS artworks such as reworked street advertisements described as “Phone Shelters” and large-scale installations listed as “Monumental Sculptures” including KAWS:HOLIDAY and works in Amsterdam, New York and Yorkshire Sculpture Park. As well as versions of the ‘Companion’ and ‘BFF’ characters, the collection also includes KAWS’ heart motif on pin badges and key chains.

Take a look through the full KAWS merch collection in the gallery above. All of the pieces are available now from the MoMA Design Store web store.

In related news, KAWS also recently unveiled a giant WHAT PARTY statue in Hong Kong.
